And then, Language is primarily an auditory
system of symbols. In so far as it is articulated it is also a motor system,
but the motor aspect of speech is clearly secondary to the auditory. And language is a tool for communication
between human and human, or animal and animal. Every language has their own
symbols, sounds and also
grammar (e.g. semantic,
morphology, syntax, word classes, grammatical categories, etc).
